3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 thebaron99 (110) - Royston Park SA, - DEC 30, 2002Frothy, hazy deep amber. Head doesn’t last till the end but easy to drink. Lacking complexity and predictable banana taste. Bare hints of spice which disappointed me. The Dunkel version by Erdinger is better, but Maisells Weisse still rules the Bavarian Wheats IMHO. This is pleasant but boring. $3:50AUS 330mls

I think this beer is one of the best I’ve tried so far in the heffe-weissen category. The aroma is sweet, almost honey-like, and the foam has an ideal appearance to it. The taste is sweet too, somewhat, at least it’s not too sweet, which makes it totally drinkable. Furthermore, it leaves a wheat aftertaste in the palate, and the beer itself is very smooth. An excellent beer this one!
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 krumbum (70) - truckee, California, USA - JUN 17, 2013
Glowing cloudy amber orange color. Light citrus and wheat notes in the scent. Taste delicious and smooth. there is a light citrus mixing with a light sweetness from the wheat. The sip slides across your palate and rinse clean.

Hazy golden straw colored body with a full white head. Sweet, wheaty, yeasty aroma with a bit of banana. Flavor is lightly sweet, wheat, mild citrus, and mild dough with an excellent hefe-style finish. Light bodied, moderately fizzy palate.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 radio_nowhere (440) - Maryland, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Draft my wife ordered at Frisco Taphouse (Columbia, MD) so I snagged a few sips. Cloudy straw-yellow color with white head. Somewhat light aroma of malt sweetness, wheat and some fruit (mainly banana) notes. Taste seemed to subdue the aroma sweetness, adds some spice notes (clove mostly). Light body, average carbonation, mellow, easy drinking with a minimal finish. Easy drinking hefe, maybe too easy as there’s not much to it.

Ótima cerveja. Leve, balanceada e com uma espuma cremosa. Sabor tende pro cítrico.

Excellent beer. First Erdinger and man was I right to get it. Confirms that wheat beers are an excellent, clean but complex taste.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GuillaumeCL (319) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a bunch of foamy white head that dissipates quickly. Smell is wheat, a bit of banana, and a tiny bit of cloves, but the smell is fairly weak overall. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with good carbonation, though slightly watery. Taste is sweet at first before getting a bit of a banana roundness, though the sweetness stays throughout and never goes away, not really very complex. Quite drinkable though.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 AndyW68 (437) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 1, 2013
Cloudy yellow with short lived white head. Aroma is musty wheat and banana. Taste is taste is banana bread less the sweetness. Enjoyable, not great. Mouth feel is a little watery.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Majek (97) - Ząbki, POLAND - MAY 30, 2013
Cloudy, straw color with nice big head. Aroma is light with wheat and banana. Taste is quite sweet (fruity esters and banana) and spicy (lots of clove). Very high carbonation. Decent weissbeer, but too sweet for me.
