COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Premium Weissbier at the top of its class. Not only in the context of the Erdinger assortment Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast applies undisputed as the classical authors, as the white beer absolutely. It is brewed with fine yeast after a delivered prescription and naturally strictly after the Bavarian purity requirement. Today still without the traditional bottle fermentation one does not do here: Three to four weeks it lasts, until the Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast matured. For the production only finest raw materials are used. Experience of many years and constant quality controls guarantee beyond that the unmistakable taste. A Weissbier for all, those the unforgettable good taste love.

Draft my wife ordered at Frisco Taphouse (Columbia, MD) so I snagged a few sips. Cloudy straw-yellow color with white head. Somewhat light aroma of malt sweetness, wheat and some fruit (mainly banana) notes. Taste seemed to subdue the aroma sweetness, adds some spice notes (clove mostly). Light body, average carbonation, mellow, easy drinking with a minimal finish. Easy drinking hefe, maybe too easy as there’s not much to it.

Not excellent but not terrible? Almost like a Belgian version of a shitty big beer Pale Lager. Looks okay but the head buggered off quickly, hazy straw coloured body. Piss, wheat, mild basement and cereal rule the scent, mostly the same for the taste. Drinkable but never a first choice....or second....or third. Good peppy mouthfeel, easy to drink. Meh.

500ml bottle poured in a Weizen beer glass. A: Pours a pale yellow to orange cloudy color. Head is huge and fluffy. Good retention and many lacings left S: A discreet smell to a German Weissbier. Strong on wheat and malt. Earthy yeasts. A bit of hops T: Very Bready beer. Wheat, malts, bit sweet upfront. Very soft beer. Very mild bitterness. Earthy yeasts M: Medium creamy body. Smooth. Nice carbonation. D: Good drinkability. Easy drinking German beer, as expected. A popular Weissbier. Not that good as a Weinstephaner, a Schneider or even a Franciskaner but... Dourado palha com espuma branca duradoura. Boa acidez e carbonatação. Seca um pouco no final. Corpo leve. Leve aroma de banana.

Bottle from Swedish SB. Pours hazy light gold with a large greamy head that settles fairly fast. Aroma is light with distinctive notes of banana and herbs. Taste is mild and refreshing thanks to a generous amount of CO2 that carries slight banana and grassy herb notes. Slight bitterness to finish it off. Very nice beer, but if anyting a little dull :-)

Wygląd: żółte/słomkowe, mętne, drobna piana biała, ale szybko opada do cienkiej warstwy. Aromat: słodowy + rozpuszcalnik, troszkę banana ogólnie bardzo słaby. Smak: lekkie słodowe ciało + rozpuszczalnik, goryczka niska ale lekko zalegająca. Piwo ogólnie słabe, wodniste, wadliwe, i mało wyraziste.

On draft in Spangalem, cloudy hay color, thick soapy head that dissipates quickly, banana and figs on the nose, sweet and refreshing, very nice overall.
