COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Premium Weissbier at the top of its class. Not only in the context of the Erdinger assortment Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast applies undisputed as the classical authors, as the white beer absolutely. It is brewed with fine yeast after a delivered prescription and naturally strictly after the Bavarian purity requirement. Today still without the traditional bottle fermentation one does not do here: Three to four weeks it lasts, until the Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast matured. For the production only finest raw materials are used. Experience of many years and constant quality controls guarantee beyond that the unmistakable taste. A Weissbier for all, those the unforgettable good taste love.

A medium yellow color, cloudy but not very cloudy for a hefe. Medium full head. Light wheat malt aroma. Subtle wheat malt and bananas interplay with a wee bit of bitter hops. Very sweet without the balancing yeasty, sharp, peppery bite I prefer in a perfect hefe. Merely average.

Perfect for dinner! Enjoyed best with grilled meat on a hot summer day. The flavor has a distinct yeast flavor with a slight sweetness and malty taste.

Smells a little like wheat (go figure). Soft on palate. Surprisingly strong taste of alcohol for a lighter beer, but there isn’t much character beyond that. Not sure why this is such a ubiquitous beer - it’s available in almost every country I visit it seems. Bottle from the lcbo.

This one just does not cut it compared to the other german weizens. Lacks the full palate and flavor if the others. From the Mitra in Roden, the Netherlands.

Pours murky yellow-gold with huge foamy white head. Faint aroma of bread and grass. Taste is sweet malts, bread, banana, cloves. High carbonation and quite refreshing. One of the better mass-produced a Weizens but still on the watery side.

Orange gold color with rocky head. Very lively carbonation. Crisp flavor of some fruits. Low bitterness, with wheat and grain. I recommend this one!

Bottle best by 01-2013. Poured a bright hazy yellow with a big frothy white head that had a thin layer lasting and left light lace. Aroma of wheat and lemon. The flavor found subdued wheat. Medium body and a light wheat aftertaste.

Off keg at derby brewery tap. A little like a lager really, prefer it from bottles. Nice on a hot day.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with nice white head. A floral aroma, but not overwhelming. Taste is very good wheat beer flavor, no bitterness. Very smooth and easy to drink (in fact my wife just finished my beer!) One of my favorite wheat beers.
