Ahh! Eines meiner Favoriten, neben Paulaner das beste Weissbier der Welt!

A masterpiece! This beer has not been rated highly enough to date! The Erdinger line is as close as I have found to the beer on tap in Germany. And this Hefeweizen has a great complexity not found in North American beers.

This was the first beer I tried on my first trip to Germany and after hundreds of beer taste tests, this is still #1 on my list. You haven’t truly tasted an Erdinger until you’ve had it with a slice of orange in it. (exactly the way it’s served in it’s native country)

One of the greatest Weissbier I’ve ever had. The wheat arone just comes out of the bottle so you can smell it and get ready for the taste. Perfect for making it last for hours I think.

Had this the first time from their 0,5L bottle this weekend. Purely the finest palate I have experienced in a hefe-weizen naturtrub. Every quality down the list that I expect from a fine weissbier. Poured into an appropriate weissbier glass. Three finger head. Cloudy golden orange color, wonderful signature notes and finish. Superb! After many years of living in Germany (twice) I can’t believe I am only just now tasting this one. Please give it a try!

As far as white beer goes, this is tough to beat. I place it ahead of Paulaner and just slightly better than Hacker...

a consistantly underrated beer. probably the best german wheatbeer available in the usa, in my opinion. light banana notes and...only drawback...a slight iron aftertaste that makes me wonder if i ’ve bitten my lip too hard or something. still. one of the better weissbeers. far above all the stuff coming out of oregon, and fellow weissbeer tucher.
