The Premium Weissbier at the top of its class. Not only in the context of the Erdinger assortment Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast applies undisputed as the classical authors, as the white beer absolutely. It is brewed with fine yeast after a delivered prescription and naturally strictly after the Bavarian purity requirement. Today still without the traditional bottle fermentation one does not do here: Three to four weeks it lasts, until the Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast matured. For the production only finest raw materials are used. Experience of many years and constant quality controls guarantee beyond that the unmistakable taste. A Weissbier for all, those the unforgettable good taste love.

Nice 50 cl bottle. I think it was the first German Hefe-Weizen I ever had, so I can’t judge it very good. It was quite nice, but I like Belgian Whites better, they’re more special and different from pilseners.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Three labels on the bottle but without information about the hops, malts or drinktemperature in detail. The website is terrible - only sales.... A cloudy golden beer with a small head, yeast is dominated, no hoppy or malty, honey, finish is very short, the Erdinger Urweise is the better alternative here, (I have a 0.5l bottle with batch L151309 1355 and best-before 06-2016)

Surprisingly clear yellow brew. Checked the bottom of bottle to see if it was filtered but there was sediment at the bottom of bottle. Would love to know their secret on keeping the sediment at the bottom during the pour. Other than that, pretty plain with nothing really exciting going on. So while nothing there making me want to buy more I would still buy it if I found it on sale.

Bottle at home. Hazy yellow colour with a lasting white head. Nose of doughy basement aromas, similar to mass produed low quality lagers... Taste is medim sweetness, very low bitterness. Very low carbonation. Meh.

Pours hazy yellow to orange with a lasting white foamy head. The aroma contains yeast, fruits (especially banana), wheat and grass. It tastes medium to light sweet. Long and wheaty finish. Light body, creamy texture and fizzy carbonation. Could use a bit more punch.

Bottle at home. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Subtle clove and banana. Lightly yeasty with some bitterness. It’s okay.

Aroma: The smell is wheat dough, with yeast and spices, clove, coriander and orange marmalade
Appearance: A cloudy golden brew with a firm white head that recedes slowly leaving good lacing.
Taste: The taste is like a liquid spicy wheat bun with bitter orange marmalade.
Palate: A medium carbonation, small intense and mouth-filling bubbles
Overall: A very decent wheat beer, nice in the summer sun.
Note: Bottle, with a chili burger. Reviewed 2010-06-22.

500ml bottle. Pours a cloudy pale orange with a half finger of white head that thins to a thick film. Aroma has notes of traditional, earthy, spicy hops, clove/spice, mild bread and caramel, and hints of fruity esters. Taste is balanced. Bits of darker caramel, bread, biscuit, traditional hops, slight banana and other fruits, a touch of spice, and a medium finish. Medium body with a medium-high carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth with a active carbonated mouth feel. Overall an easy drinking beer. Traditional in its flavours but done well.

Bottle. Pours light yellow color with big head. It is not so hazy as I expected. Aroma remind me on nuts. And, of course, some banana and yeast notes. Maybe also metal notes. Flavor is watery with banana notes. Not so sweet. Medium body. Overall: ok but missing some classic characteristics of hefe (eg. Body, stronger yeast esters). Anyway it is easy drinkable.
