COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Premium Weissbier at the top of its class. Not only in the context of the Erdinger assortment Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast applies undisputed as the classical authors, as the white beer absolutely. It is brewed with fine yeast after a delivered prescription and naturally strictly after the Bavarian purity requirement. Today still without the traditional bottle fermentation one does not do here: Three to four weeks it lasts, until the Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast matured. For the production only finest raw materials are used. Experience of many years and constant quality controls guarantee beyond that the unmistakable taste. A Weissbier for all, those the unforgettable good taste love.

Nice 50 cl bottle. I think it was the first German Hefe-Weizen I ever had, so I can’t judge it very good. It was quite nice, but I like Belgian Whites better, they’re more special and different from pilseners.

one of the best wheat beers. They feel the difference in quality, since fermented directly in the bottle

SB Oskarshamn, flaska. Aromen överraskande frisk. Färsk från Tyskland. En mkt positiv uberraschung.

Barely any taste to it. Too sweet, no bitterness to it. I’d rather have a Paulaner or Franziskaner any time.

Can 0.5 l. Hazy golden liquid. Medium body and carbonation. Very light aroma of grains and a hint of flowers. Taste like lager and hefe weizen combo. Not very tasty.

Once upon a time, this was my favorite beer just to keep around to drink and compared to the what we could get not all that long ago, it isn’t bad but as my opportunities to try more complex beers has grown so has my recognition that this is very pedestrian. Traditional Hefe Weizen in appearance and aroma with a good long lasting creamy head. Refreshing but not much to it.

Pours a hazy pale yellow color, topped with a decent frothy white head. Standard wheaty aroma with bananas and spices. Taste is wheaty and mildly sweet, citric soury feel in the finish. Perfectly decent and easily drinkable.

I used to like it before I knew better beers. Tried it again on tap yesterday and I found it quite disappointing. Creamy white head on a pale hazy golden body, aroma of citrus and spices but taste doesn’t add much: malty and quite sour. Felt it heavy in the stomach.

Appearance: hazy straw with a short, short-lived white head, no lacing. (3/5) Aroma: wheat, banana, bubblegum. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, mild bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry crisp finish. (3/5) A - the? - standard weissbier. Decent levels of wheat malt, banana, and bubblegum, but ultimately not all that interesting. Feels a little heavy towards the end of the pint. (13/20)
