The Premium Weissbier at the top of its class. Not only in the context of the Erdinger assortment Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast applies undisputed as the classical authors, as the white beer absolutely. It is brewed with fine yeast after a delivered prescription and naturally strictly after the Bavarian purity requirement. Today still without the traditional bottle fermentation one does not do here: Three to four weeks it lasts, until the Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast matured. For the production only finest raw materials are used. Experience of many years and constant quality controls guarantee beyond that the unmistakable taste. A Weissbier for all, those the unforgettable good taste love.

This beer seems a little bit underrated here. I normally don’t go for hefe-weizen, because often they have too much citrus, a sort of weak palate and not much complexity. This beer surprised me because it is quite balanced for a hefe-weizen, with some citrus, fruit and floral undertones. It seems mature and is very drinkable. The aroma is faint, but the palate is actually quite nice with a little bit of thickness/oiliness. There are even some hops present in the flavor and finish. Overall a nice beer.

golden color, cloudy beer, white big head, little bubbles, lasing, as you can expect. Light aroma of bananas, citrusy acid (not like from hops), grains, other aromas. Lighter than usually in Hefeweizen, less yeasts aromas. Taste: sweet, a little bit of sour, refreshing. Medium carbonation, light to medium body. Overall: good hefeweizen, tasty, altough less yeasts aromas than usually. Good beer.

Honey cloudy colour with big white top. Typical well balanced Hefe-Weizen. Easy drinking bier with nice carbonation. Little bit neutral in taste and aroma. Very refreshing.

Amarela turva com boa formação de espuma de média duração. Aroma e sabor com notas frutadas, banana, cravo e quase nada de lúpulo. Corpo leve com final médio e frutado. Boa breja, minha história com cervejas especiais começou "aqui".

Pours cloudy orange with a medium white head that doesn’t last as long as most hefeweizen. Aroma of banana milkshake. A very sweet, banana milkshake type taste also. Not the best hefeweizen but nice.

Butelka. Barwa złota, opalizująca. Mętność na niskim poziomie (osad pozostał zbity na dnie butelki). Piana obfita, śnieżnobiała, trwała, zdobi szkło. Aromat nikły, głównie zbożowy, estry ledwie wyczuwalne a fenoli brakuje kompletnie. Smak również zbożowy, pszeniczny ale nic poza tym. Goryczka niska. Aromat i smak pozbawione są typowych dla stylu nut goździkowych i bananowych. Kwasowość również niska. Rześkość temu piwu nadaje jedynie wysokie nasycenie.

Comparing to other German Hefe-Weissbiers, Erdinger is little bit disappointing for me. It pours a white thick head with cloudy yellow color. Smell: Quite yeasty and citrus with the hints of banana and clove. Taste: Not so good, and it is highly acidic for me. Aromas of banana, clove, and citrus are under pressured by the existence of dominant malty wheat aroma. Finish is weak and short lasting. I prefer Weihenstephaner, Pauline or Schneider to this one, sorry.

BBD 6/15. Pours a cloudy golden with just a touch of amber. World class head volume, retention and lacing. Light nose of banana, clove and yeast. Light medium body that has a smooth texture. Perfect carbonation with a nice effervescent burst from the middle on. Like the nose, the flavor profile is weak, but improves considerably as it warms. The key to this beer is consume it near room temperature. It also lacks complexity when cold, but blossoms as it warms and is nicely balanced. Clove is the strongest component, while banana stays in the background. The middle has a touch of bitterness. No sweetness really ever emerges and the finish is a bit dry and tart.

50 cl bottle @ Wasa Line
Aroma is a bit acidic with citrus, yeasty tones and grain. Flavour has citrus, yeasty tones and mellow grassy notes. Somewhat fizzy and vichy-like. Finishes with cardboardy notes. Not that good. Does not feel very fresh.

50 cl bottle.
Pours cloudy yellow color with a large head. Herbal aroma, wheat and yeast, maybe some mild toffee. Mild wheat flavor, a bit yeasty, some spices, mild fruity tones also. A bit stuffy and the flavor is a bit cardboard-y, might be a bit old.
