The Premium Weissbier at the top of its class. Not only in the context of the Erdinger assortment Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast applies undisputed as the classical authors, as the white beer absolutely. It is brewed with fine yeast after a delivered prescription and naturally strictly after the Bavarian purity requirement. Today still without the traditional bottle fermentation one does not do here: Three to four weeks it lasts, until the Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast matured. For the production only finest raw materials are used. Experience of many years and constant quality controls guarantee beyond that the unmistakable taste. A Weissbier for all, those the unforgettable good taste love.

Pours a cloudy gold with a great fluffy head. Aroma is a little underwhelming as well as the taste. But overall not a bad hefeweizen.

A mild bitter weizener, with a full flavour taste and subtle aftertaste. A personal favourite and achieves full potential when drank from a big glass.

Bottle at a hotel bar in Rostock. Pours nicely, nice taste and colour. A very good weizen in my opinion.

500ml bottle from Tesco, Hermiston Gait. Pours cloudy yellow, thin short-lived white head. Aromas of light clove, bread, malt. Taste brings more peppery spice, and touch of banana. Bit sweet on the finish, but not bad.

From 12 oz bottle at the 2014 German Bierfest (ATL). Light body with medium high carbonation. Decent head. Crisp and dry finish. Low yeast and wheat flavor for style to extra refreshing. Clean finish.

Hazy, golden colour with a big creamy head. There is a slight aroma of lemon and soft malts. The taste is full, with hints of nutmeg and banana, and lower notes with hints of Armagnac. There is a refreshing bitterness to balance the sweeter caramel and bread flavours. Quite complex for such a popular beer, but not as rich as some of the weißbiers available from smaller breweries. Good value when bought in the bottle. An excellent choice for summer drinking.

33cl bottle, poured into a tulip glass. Cloudy golden colour, with a medium head. Average carbonation, a little watery. Slightly sweet, creamy, with a little sourness/tart in the aftertaste.
