COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
All the same, the light version comes very close in taste to the classic wheat beer. Even real wheat-beer connoisseurs can hardly tell the difference and heap praise on the full flavor of this specialty wheat beer.

Bov (7364) - Bienne, - DEC 27, 2009
from beerangel.de - cloudy golden-blond colour with a little foam left; dusty nose with notes of hay and banana; fair but subtle carbonation; sweet with some tart acidity, aftertaste of wheat and quite dry - thin-bodied and pointless

mile (1452) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle. Light golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty – lightly wheaty and grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, faint banana. Body is light, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, some cardboard. Finish is short, malty – lightly wheaty and dryish, faint banana. Really watery hefeweizen - when water is not available.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2011 500 ml bottle. From mein-biershop.de.
Slightly cloudy golden colour with big fluffy white head. Wheat, paper, malt and sugar in aroma. Flavour is wheaty but unfortunately metallic and slightly thin for a Weizen. I guess some of the flavours disappeared with reduced calories.

Brought back from Germany by my daughter and poured into the half liter glass she also brought. 16(?) oz. bottle. A big fluffy white head leaves sticky and stringy lacing. Opaque and golden with some yeast in the bottom of the bottle. I love the 2.9% ABV! Its aroma is wheat, cloves, and European hops. Feel is thin and so is the flavor. Crisp wheat and dry hops are predominant but some soft banana is tasted. This has more sourness than I expected. As good a lawn mowing beer as can be found but not a great beer.

Da war doch was....6, setzen. Test vom 26.12.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,2,11,1,6,1 - 3,90
