Bright golden with a creamy white head. Yeasty, flowery nose. Smoothly carbonated. Malts were lightly sweet, yeasty, and cakey. Delicate hops with notes of herbs and flowers. Hardly any bitterness. Fairly clean finish. Must’ve had a fresh bottle.

bought over by the one called stumac, this started Stumelgram IV ... soapy yet almost firm head ... lots of grassy deliciousness, but as it warms enjoyment fades ... dark caramel colour .. some sweetness ... corn!! ...

Bottle from my friend John, who swears he bought this at Phoenicia in Houston.
Pours a nice yellow with a great head; my porn star girlfriend smiled. Flavor is thick corn with a brusque aftertaste of husk. Thick mouthfeel. Worth a try, nonetheless.

Green bottle. Aroma of grassy hop backed by a bit of sweet malt. Brassy gold color with a pretty good size white head. Thin to medium body with coarsely creamy carbonation. Good feel. Flavor is grass and floral hop over biscuit. Not exactly crisp, but it seems clean. Finish is more bitter than sweet. Goes down well after 4 hours mucking about in the yard.

This was surprisingly good. It’s dark gold with a medium, dense off-white head that slowly shrinks and leaves a little lacing. The aroma is a strong, pungent pale lager aroma first of sweet grain & malt, then flowery pine, leaves, with hints of crackers and a typical light hint of skunk. The taste is also a strong pale lager taste, with a sweetish malty start then a faintly meaty, pungent pine-herbal-grass hop taste and bitterness that really dominates the drink for the rest of the time and is quite nice. After a while, as it warms a bit, there is a faint soapy metallic quality, but this is not noticeable if one drinks it cold or does not linger on it, instead letting the sharp herbally hops dominate. The body becomes a little watery as it warms. In the end, it is quite good. It is somewhat similar to Weihenstephaner Festbier, but tastes better, more well-rounded, and less sharp. It goes well with food.

Strong grassy hops abound and are detected from a great distance. Hints of dry pale and caramel malt. As the hops fade, there seems to very little left. Golden liquid with a moderate off-white head and nice lace. Solid, yet, somewhat grain malt in the front that give way to a herbal grassy bitterness in the middle. Finishes slightly crisp, but there is a touch of metal/mineral that distracts in the linger. Certainly not one of the worst euro strongs out there.
