bottle, purchased at the brewery. Clear golden colour with a large and creamy white head. Malty-hoppy nose. Full-bodied, very pleasant malt flavours combined with superb aromatic, flowery and fragrant hops. Bitter-sweet character. Hints of grass and hay. Lingering finish in which the delicious hops come through again. A superb and well-crafted beer. One of the best Export beers I’ve tasted for ages! I think I must get backto the brewery to buy more... lots more...

Bottle (courtesy of Stefan!): Almost clear, pale greenish golden, stable persistent white head with a little lace; sweetish-grainy to pale-malty nose with a small, but distinctive hoppy background; very smooth, moderate sweetish-bitter flavour; lingering Tettnang-hoppy and grainy finish. Another good beer from a good brewery........

(bottle) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a big and slowly lacing foamy white head. Moderately sweet and slightly grainy malty aroma with a pleasantly herbal spicy and slightly woody hoppy note. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Pale malty, slightly grainy and minimal buttery taste with delicate noble hoppy notes in the background; sweet and slightly bitter finish with herbal and slightly woody hops. Another pleasant Ochsenbräu beer. 06.I.10.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. Diacetyl, raisin, malt, berries, hops, dried apricot, salt and candy sugar in the nose. Sweet malty taste. Fruity. Salty finish. Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!
