bottle, bought at the brewery. Hazy golden colour with a large, creamy white head. Fragrant hoppy nose. Full-bodied with delicious malt flavours and very fragrant and perfumy aromatic hops. Bitter-sweet, reminds me of some unfiltered Bohemian 12° lagers... I want more of this beer!

Bottle (kindly delivered by Stefan!): Pale greenish-golden, a bit unclear, huge white fluffy head, fresh hoppy (Tettnang) nose with malty and yeasty influences; a bit fizzy, light to medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour with a light acidity; lemony-citrussy finish with grains and hops. Good, but not great........

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Yeasty and moderately sweet malty aroma with light grainy notes and a tinge of herbal and slightly woody hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Slightly yeasty and grainy pale malt character with delicate hoppy notes; sweet and slightly bitter malt-accented finish with a little fizz and slightly woody hops. 06.I.10

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck: It pours a murky pale golden beer with a beautifully remainig lacing tall white head. I served this beer at a temperature which was slightly too cold; anyway: as it warmed up the aroma got gradually more complex: Very pleasant and inviting with papaya, hops, pineapple, milk chocolate, a lot of almonds and figs showing up. Fruity and grainy. Nice balance on the palate. Beautiful hop profile. Papaya being rather present accompanied by pineapple and almonds. Wonderfully fruity. Low carbonation. Subuded bitterness. Reminiscence of jasmine, candy sugar, papaya and pineapple in the finish which is makes you eager to drink more. A top notch Zwickel with plenty of character. Mindblowingly pleasant. Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!
