It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of yeast, wheat and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, fruit, wheat and the finish is spicy and slightly dry.

Bottle at the bar on Heiligenstatt banhof platform - 14/07/12. Slightly hazed golden/orange with a medium white head. Wheat, banana, yeast and a touch of spice on the nose. Taste marries the aroma. Medium bodied, quite a dose of carbonation. Refreshing enough Weizen.

Kristall-König (1901) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUL 1, 2011
Hefig-bananiger Geruch; zurückhaltend und sanft. Antrunl leicht hefig, dann ins Säuerliche umschlagend. Test vom 3.8.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottled 500ml. -bought at Orterer Getränkemärkte Altötting, Germany.
Orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, dry fruity yeasty nose. Lively carbonation. Sweet wheaty, slight yeasty and fruity with lemony and vanilla notes. Ordinary weizen.

0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who got it in Germany (thanks!).
Poured a murky apricot body with a thick white head that went away slowly. Malty and yeasty sweet nose, a bit lemony-acidic, bubblegummy and dry. The taste is sweet and dry, yeasty, vaguely lemony, slightly bitter. Not bad.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy pale yellow-brownish colour with a mid-sized head. Fruity-wheaty nose. Wheaty and yeasty with some shy fruity hints, not too much banana.

Bottle: Golden, unclear, no head to speak of; wheat and bananas in the nose; moderate to solid sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy; fresh, spicy lemony-wheaty finish. Very fruity and refreshing Weizen.......

(bottle) Cloudy, orange to golden colour with a huge and dense foamy white head. Yeasty and quite spicy aroma, moderately wheaty with fruity notes of citrus and most of all banana. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Wheaty and moderately fruity taste with pretty rounded spicy accents; almost dry, fruity and mildly grainy and spicy finish. Decent wheat. 01.IX.09

Yellow, light hazy orange color. Dense, foamy head. Sourly, fruity aroma, notes of lemon and yeast. Flavor is sourly fresh, hints of oranges and some spices. OK wheat.
