3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from an undated 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: slightly hazy pale copper with a faint reddish tint. The small white head dissipates rather rapidly leaving just a ring and decent lacing.
Smell: light, sweet malt aroma with a subtle cherry character that seems more natural than artificial.
Taste: light malt flavor with a fair bit of sweetness. The cherry is less subtle, and more tart (thankfully) than anticipated from the nose.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body; medium carbonation; smooth
Overall: a decent cherry ale; just don’t expect a lambic or kriek.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber, decent sized white head. Smell like cherry and toast. I liked the fact that this was clean and crisp, without a lot of fake or artificial notes. Seemed like a nice cherry flavor, not too heavy or cloying. Would drink again...

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tart sweet fruity aroma; looks like beer soda, or soda beer with all the bubbles; light on the palate; flava is sweet, like cherry soda; matter of fact I think it is cherry soda!

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
body with a one finger fizzy off-hire head that fell to a wispy covering. The nose is super sweet, it smells like candy, and not in a good way. It smells so much like cherry that it just can’t be natural. Just a bit of caramel malt peeking out. The flavor is just as sweet as I expected. This honestly tastes more like a black cherry soda than it does beer. Other than a little cereal grain like note on the finish, there isn’t much else going on. There truly isn’t much in the way of flaws to this, I think this is what they were going for, it just isn’t anything that I want in a beer. Medium bodied and a bit sticky and clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Should have just labeled this as a wine cooler or one of those crappy Tilt like ’malternatives’.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the keg at the 2012 Selinsgrove Beer and Wine Festival
Pours deep coppery with slight pink tinge and 1-finger head that forms great lace. Nose is fresh black cherry, not artificial at all, with a solid malt bill. Tastes malty, with the black cherry in the background, on the sweet side.
Has kind of a bitter after taste.
This is a solid fruit beer. Very distinct and bold.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at the Nook. Pours copper with a small, beige head. The aroma is distinctly black cherries, with notes of brown sugar, and saaz hops. The flavor is acidic sweetness, and mild bitterness. The palate is medium, crisp and clean. Overall, this is a surprisingly delicious fruity cream ale, with distinct fruit aroma without the typical cough syrup flavor. Well done.
