3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear honey color with a medium white head. Aroma has some light maltiness...bready...and subtle cherry notes. Flavor showcases the cherry and has some caramely malt backing to it...certainly not tart, vinous or sweet...id rather one or more of these qualities were present to make it less boring. Light silky mouthfeel and a brief mild cherry finish.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thanks to Tedwarhc for this bottle. Served in a tulip.
Pours a bright light pinkish-orange color with a large fizzy, soda-like head that falls quickly into a very thin collar. Nose brings forward some fake cherry character and not much else. The flavor is strange with some artificial cherry and almost tastes like a cherry Tootsie Roll without the chocolate. Light body and plenty of carbonation. Interesting, but not something I’d drink very much of.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nice apparent aroma of black cherry, quite noticeable. some yeastiness to the aroma as well. Overly sweet, quite artificial tasting cherry. CD says real cherries are used but I don’t buy it. Very light and easy to drink, but highly imbalanced and fruity with very little of anything else. It’s ok at best.

pours dark, amber color. Has a nice aroma and a mild flavor of cherries, not overwhelming but good. This one came in a summer case.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear peach color with almost no head. Aroma of cherry, floral, yeast. Taste is primarily sweet. Fruit flavor is mild so as not to take over the entire experience. Medium body and lively carbonation. This is one of the better fruit beers that I’ve had, good summer brew.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Half Time. Pours amber with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma is sort of cooked. Malt? Fruit? Both? Med minus body. Flavor comes over to me as more chocolate than cherry at first, later it does go mild light cherry. The flavor just lacks intensity. Not a sicky sweet fruit beer, but not a flavorful one either. Sort of bland ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I remember liking this better at the Beer on the Bay Beer fest in Erie PA last year (July 2010). It poured a Nice ruby and copper colored body with a super thick, frothy white head and bubbles floating from the bottom are visible. Aroma of cherries, malt, fruit, and maybe Wheat? Tastes just like it smells. Almost like a wine cooler, but I guess better. They go down quick, watch out for the 5%. I guess a good Summer beer. But a little too sweet.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 fl oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear copper (pinkish-golden??) with a small pinkish head.
Aroma: Some decent mulled cherry notes with yeasty, doughy, grain notes that create an overall impression of cherry pie.
Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence with some prickly bubbles, a little astringent.
Flav.: Much like the nose, a bit more cherry, but really, this is liquid cherry pie to me; dry with minimal bitterness, a little brightness and a somewhat abrupt, nondescript finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Kind of grayish white head of fine bubbles that recede rather quickly. A decent black cherry aroma with some grape juice and some light malts. Color is a brown with a slight reddish hue. Decent carbonation. Kind of sickly sweet aroma with some more black cherry, grape and grainy malts. Maybe some creamed corn in there also. I ambig fan of black cherry but this just seems a bit synthetic to me.
