2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheWife (20) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2010
While at Dunderbak’s, I asked the waiter what was on draft for fruit beers and it was this or one other - this was the one I selected. I expected cherries to be present in either the aroma or taste and found it lacking all around. Next time I’ll order the other fruit beer.

12oz bottle pours copper with gold hues and short lived white head. The aroma is very mild with faint berry and malt sweetness. The taste presents sweet malts and sweet dark cherries rounded out initially by a dash of carbonation enhanced tannins. By midway the malts and berryness come to a peak and mingling in modest somewhat restrained harmony. Nice. It gets a tad too sweet into the finish. This beer has limited depth, decent enough flavor and should prove particularly tasty on a hot day.

the beer is straight forward with a touch of black cherry juice for flavor. it tastes more like a malt beverage instead of a straight fruit beer, nothing special but still quite good.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 nick76 (4073) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 25, 2009
The aroma is strange with cherries, feet, adjunct malts, grass, and herbs. The appearance is pink gold with a large head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is watery thin. Overall this is not very good.

Bottle Pours out a ripe peach skin pink topped with a white head. Aroma was of cherry candy and light malts. Taste was more of the sweet cherries and a light bitterness on the end.

pours copper/orange, white head.
Aroma of cherry juice, light caramel and malts.
Flavor, sparkly mouthfeel with fruits that reminds me of cherry juice, light hints of sweetness along the lines of a wine cooler. Some hints of malts with some lingering bitter fruits in the finish.

12oz Bottle – Gravity Beer Market – Olympia, WA
Aroma: Light with fruit aroma and light malt and hops.
Appearance: Golden yellow in color, clear with a light head.
Flavor: Light flavor with very little fruit flavor. Just a little would have been nice.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a not much Mouthfeel.
Overall: This was a weak beer and the fruit flavor was missing. Opps.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 revans (45) - Salem, Ohio, USA - SEP 17, 2009
12 oz. bottle and draught. Very disappointing. Not much black cherry flavor although the aroma was there. Weak tasting and somewhat flat.

Bottle. Pours a amber peach body with a light white pink hued head. Aroma is a bit dank like staled mildewed malt and musky black cherries. Mildly sweet upfront then a more grainy dull malt bill to back up the short lived sweetness. Thin and very short lived in terms of flavor and aroma. I would pass on another one.
