Bottle, courtesy Gilliard. Black and brownish pour, reddish highlights. Minimal grayish tan head, smooth lacing. Nose has big oatmeal roast, ton of grain and wheat, and slight coffee. Some oats in the flavor, way too thin and boring. Body is very thin and watery, pretty much sucks actually.

Brewed in the USA !!! Pours a very dark brown / black color with a dissipating tan head. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, oatmeal, and coffee. The taste has a slighty bitter chocolate flavor with roasted malts. The mouthfeel was zesty at first but finishes smooth.

2008 Flour City Brewfest. Light chocolate aroma. Nice big tan head from the black body. Medium palate. Chocolate flavor is a bit thin, but enjoyable. A solid sweet stout.

Bottle courtesy of beerman6686. Pours dark brown with a thin light brown head. Smells of chocolate, coffee, hints of nuts. Tastes sweet and malty with some roasty hints on the finish. Pretty good.

12oz bottle...aroma--cocoa and paint thinner...pours dark brown with a crazy head of brown sugar...thin body with a tinge of metal...a muddled cherry and bitterness to the cherry...some toffee and a chalky mouth feel..its ok to pound down...not great...probably wouldn’t buy again...but the bottle may be bad??...so that would be the only time to retry , but not anytime soon

Sample @ Village Beer Merchants Erie Tasting. Decent stout but needs more body. aroma of roasted malts, chocolate. Nice roasty flavor. All the elements for a quality stout are here except the body. A little work & they may have something here
