jameswolfe (141), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 17, 2007 Pretty tasteless Pale Ale here. Maybe a beginner would like this. It looks good in the glass and that is about it. Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 8, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma of light caramel, floral hops and some citrus notes. Flavor follows the aroma with a bittersweet finish. beachbum25 (778), Powellville, Maryland, USA Dec 1, 2007 12 oz bottle-pours an amber/orange color w/a slight off white head. Light hop & malt aroma. Flavor of floral hops w/ traces of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, & some traces of bread dough. Light, easy drinking brew, tastes more like an amber than an APA to me; but I guess they can call it whatever they want. Pretty mild for an APA, those usually aren’t my favorite style, this wasn’t bad; solid brew. Mild malt finish. JJClark (545), Roscoe, Illinois, USA Nov 28, 2007 Bottle. Pours a light amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of light hops, malt and caramel. Taste is slightly sweet and earthy. Flavor of citrus and hops for a light bitter finish. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Nov 27, 2007 (12oz bottle) Small off-white head atop crystal clear light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, toffee/bread, caramel, some orange. Taste is medium sweet, orange, caramel, some lime, slightly astringent. Light-medium body, some acidity. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 26, 2007 bottle - Amber ale? That’s another categorization I don’t agree with here. If the brewer says it’s an APA, I think there needs to be a good reason to call it something else. IMO it easily has enough hops to fit the style. But anyway, it pours coppery and slightly hazy with a two finger, lingering head. There’s a good citrus hop aroma. The flavor is moderately bitter with a little citrus. The balance is just ok. It could use some more character. This medium bodied brew finishes dry. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 25, 2007 12 oz bottle-pours a retaining off white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, grainy, secondary citrus. Taste is medium malt-caramel, grainy, secondary citrus/spicy hops. Nice although the finish is thin. bigrond (1043), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 21, 2007 this was a decent beer - nice flavor and easy going down. And they did go down quicker than expected. To bad it’s getting a bad rating.
