Pours a slightly murky dark copper body under a smallish foamy off-white head that left some spotty lacing. Aroma isn’t the most pleasant, sort of a garbagy smell with undertones of doughy pale malts. Flavor is thin and uninspiring up front with a bland bready and yeasty finish. Very watery front to back. Mouthfeel is thin, watery, and has moderate fizzy carbonation. I had no idea what style this was when I drank this. This was boring and terrible, and I feel like I was cheated for wasting money on this. MacDaddyOJake (274), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Crisp and clean with some straw and grass. Bland finish with minimal hops. MrBunn (1527), Western, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor is a little bit of grass, a little bit of hops, well balanced, but fairly uninteresting. Comes off crisp and clean. cheapdark (2016), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours almost transparent, with a slight haze, that has the color of light brown brownish orange (11000). This is from Erie brewing, they are underrated and have some very unique beers that you should try. This is a 12 oz bottle and surprisingly has a description on it. Cool painting of Mad Anthony, do you know why he was called mad? Many Erie brews leave you wondering what you have until you see the style on this site. Has a hoppy hint of bitterness on the beginning of my drink. Relatively nice creamy carbonation that can be enjoyed. This is another amber ale, the last ones I tasted were Mendocino red tail and GD amber ridge. Amber ridge was not quite as bitter and this brew is not as bitter as red tail, therefore a little more enjoyable. Finish is not too harsh but there is a little linger in there typical of most ales and it don’t last too long. It is not long lasting or tongue sticking like red tail. This is creamy but I think ridgeline had more creamyness in the carbonation.

A clean taste and neutral yeast makes this beer a decent attempt.. shadey (1496), Rochester, New York, USA
