No balance in the aroma, all honey cereal malt. Looks great in the glass, soft gold, yellowed edges and a creamy inviting head. Strong honey and cereal presence as well, and the creamy head cuts through it a bit. Some bitterness in the finish, more astringent than balanced.

Very good, microbrew flavor. Unfortunately, it smelled like it was skunked...didn’t seem to affect the taste though.

Light copper color. Not much aroma. Head dissapated quickly. Really light amber ale taste. More malt than hops. Wouldn’t call it an APA.

12oz bottle. Clear, light amber color. Aroma of malted butter and toffee. Some old dead cedar. Flavor is a pale malt. Followed by lots of bitterness. Not very balanced. Some may like it. Not 4 me. Distant taste of toasted barley.

Bottle. Poured pale-golden-amber with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly piney hops, sweet caramel, sublte hints of maple, and lightly raisin. Flavor is moderate pine resin, sweet caramel with hints of cereal, slightly orange, and hints of berries. Palate was light with complementary light carbonation which was really refreshing. A good APA.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 8/30/09

Aroma: Faint grass hops, light biscuit malts
Appearance: Mildly hazy orange-amber color
Flavor: Mild hops, mild malts, decent taste, bit of grain, bit of spice, just a little boring
Palate: A touch thin/watery, light body decent mouthfeel, borderline 2/3
Overall Impression: This beer is alright, there just ain’t a whole lot going on here. It’s drinkable, non-offensive, and just a little on the boring side. Where’s the flavor? Eh, not rushing out for this one again.

Feint signs of piney hops on the nose, very caramelly and malty. pours a pale amber. Crisp bite, light bitterness, very balanced. Not bad.

So so. Pretty much right down the middle average. Nice looking clear amber with a tiny disappearing head. Aroma is bread and malt. Flavor is mostly hops, not very balanced. Thin watery finish.
