PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Mar 15, 2009 Orlando, Fl. - Whole Foods - 12 oz bottle. Nice medium copper colored pour with a soft white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Pleasant aroma with some fresh lake water notes and a hint of faint spruce. Flavor has a nice subtle bitterness to it with some nectarine notes, some Christmas-type spices and a touch of nuttiness. Mouthfeel is crisp. Very decent - would make a decent session ale. Thanks to my wife for bring this back for me! sjolles85 (77), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 11, 2009 On Tap at OTP. Pours a copper color, with a big head and very sticky lacing. Nose is corn, hints of wheat and hops. Flavor is corn, grain, some citrusy hops. Smooth, crisp and drinkable, but pretty boring otherwise. rustbucket0873 (145), Krikville, New York, USA Jan 12, 2009 This beer is an golden color, with and an aroma of hops, and citrus. the flavor is a caramel taste with a bitterness that is not overwhelming at the then. It does not leave much of an after taste. Overall this is not one of the best i have had, but it really isnt to bad. BREWMUSKCLES (1062), New Jersey, USA Jan 11, 2009 a pretty good combination of malt and hop flavors work togeather to make this a pretty good ale. mostly citrus with a touch of dishwater and spice in the hop dimension it has a sweet malty flavor that is caramel like and hardly grain at all yet noticeable. i found the body moderate and with an appley fruit quality immersed in other fruit flavors like pear in honey.
