| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 16, 2008 12 oz bottle. Clear orange in color. Aroma is very grainy and malty, can’t pick up too much hop character in this- not too good. Taste is worse, very grainy, some light butter, and almost no hop character at all. Ugh, this one has to be old, at least I really hope it is. ATLBeerDog (280), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Pours light orange with not much carbonation. No head. Light smells of fruit and malt. Very light body. First taste is fruity followed by a slight bitterness. Very light and mild. Less flavor than I expected. Not too tasty. swoopjones (1897), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Pours clear copper with a white head. A bunch of lace. The nose shows some signs of American hops, but there is a bunch of biscuit malt character. The hop flavor is more on the earthy side, and there’s a strong malt backbone. Medium body, but a bit watery. High carbonation. Dry, malt driving finish. afireinside96 (826), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Bottle acquired in a trade with The_Captain. Thanks Mark. Pours orange-gold with a thin head into an English pint glass. Smells of citrus and biscuit. Flavors of nuts and light hops are present. Palate is very thin and watery. Nothing extraordinary but would make a good summer session beer. WISEGUY572 (1245), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 29, 2008 A dead center no impact amber, even if they call it an American pale. Rich amber color, small head, no lace. Caramel, nuts, and some British hopping; not as bad as the other Erie. Still a tad thin and dead in the mouth. Drinkable in a pinch, but I’m not there yet. This one is going to be used as steam in a smoker. HighlanderOne (541), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2008 Poured from bottle 5/2008. Smells great - sweet malty aroma. Medium amber, lacing head. Very nicely hopped, nice malt notes blend in well. Hops linger in aftertaste. Finished nicely. Good choice. TheCaptain (549), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2008 Bottle, mixed case. Poured a clear burnt orange amber, Simmering white head with some lacing. Hops and a tinge of citrus aroma that carries into the pallet. Some sweetness with a lemon citrus character and hops up front, tangy. Again, Ok average.
