| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Pours a nice orange color with a decent sized white head. Citrus hop aroma Pretty moderate on the hops in the flavor, but very strong bitter hop finish that hands around forever. Almost a tongue killer. If it was a bit more mellow it would be very drinkable. Tmoney99 (4718), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a clear deep amber with an average rocky off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with an average bitter finish of medium duration. blankboy (3204), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a clear golden-orange with a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma of buttery caramel malt (not quite diacetyl but close). Flavour’s better, with caramel malt, light Fuggles hops and a light bitter finish. Average bodied. Just O.K. iowaherkeye (1852), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 18, 2008 12oz bottle, no date. Clear yellow amber with a small off-white head, fading to a ring and thin film before long. Metallic aroma with woody earthy hops and stale caramel malts. Flavor had fresher caramel malts, moderate sweetness with some earthy hops and bitterness trying to keep the balance. Bitterness peaked around a 3. Some paper oxidation is present. Light carbonation with a medium body. Not too bad, but not stupendous either. jredmond (1029), New Jersey, USA

The body is hazy orange with some head. The aroma is some hops. The taste is hop, i guess maybe sweeter and more mellow than many IPAs ive tried. Decent beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Bottle from Erie Brewing sampler pack. Clear golden-orange with a small but persistent snow white head. Aroma is pleasant and balanced, with fresh-smelling malt and some slightly citric hops. Thin, crisp mouthfeel. Flavour is nice, following on the aroma with a good balance of sweet malt and tangy hops, and a good finish. A simple but enjoyable quaffer that’s a bit underrated, IMO.
