Bottle, labeled Mad Anthony’s APA: Pours a transparent golden with a thin-lacing white head. Aroma of slightly earthy, piny hops and semi-sweet lightly toasted pale malt. Starts with a mild sweetness and some earthy bittering hops toward a crisper, bittersweet finish. A decent amber/APA.

This poured a golden amber body with a decent enough head that did some fine lacework. The aroma is sort of like overly ripe oranges, old flowers, and a bit of caramel. The malt also has a touch of butterscotch in the flavor, but the hops seemed cleaner. Balanced and drinkable, but not something that I’d care to repeat.

Bottle from Belo Vino. Poured a clear deep amber with an average rocky off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with an average bitter finish of medium duration.

Bottle from Pat’s. Copper pour with minimal off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some slight vinous fruit and hops. Medium palate heft, with initial and continued caramel malt, with slight hops and cabernet wisps at mid-palate. Decent.
