argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Nov 27, 2007 (12oz bottle) Small off-white head atop crystal clear light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, toffee/bread, caramel, some orange. Taste is medium sweet, orange, caramel, some lime, slightly astringent. Light-medium body, some acidity. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Oct 22, 2007 Bottle, labeled Mad Anthony’s APA: Pours a transparent golden with a thin-lacing white head. Aroma of slightly earthy, piny hops and semi-sweet lightly toasted pale malt. Starts with a mild sweetness and some earthy bittering hops toward a crisper, bittersweet finish. A decent amber/APA. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 25, 2007 12 oz bottle-pours a retaining off white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, grainy, secondary citrus. Taste is medium malt-caramel, grainy, secondary citrus/spicy hops. Nice although the finish is thin. Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Oct 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of sloth. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, some light spice, tea. Tastes earthy with some nice peppery hints. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jan 10, 2008 This poured a golden amber body with a decent enough head that did some fine lacework. The aroma is sort of like overly ripe oranges, old flowers, and a bit of caramel. The malt also has a touch of butterscotch in the flavor, but the hops seemed cleaner. Balanced and drinkable, but not something that I’d care to repeat.
