It does not leave much of an after taste. Overall this is not one of the best i have had, but it really isnt to bad. caresville (106), Vernon, New Jersey, USA

I thought this smelled kind of like the spices that were on some baked apples I had once. Fairly thin, not very flavorful. Slight hops. Stings the nostrils, in a semi-good way. Deep amber color. Thick foamy head lasts a minute or two, then it’s time for taste. I detected heavy malt and caramel. After the initial shock of the strong malt and caramel, I was able to enjoy this beer, slightly. scrizzz (1355), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 8, 2009 No balance in the aroma, all honey cereal malt. Looks great in the glass, soft gold, yellowed edges and a creamy inviting head. Strong honey and cereal presence as well, and the creamy head cuts through it a bit. Some bitterness in the finish, more astringent than balanced. BEERGUY007 (206), Scotia, New York, USA
