A dead center no impact amber, even if they call it an American pale. Rich amber color, small head, no lace. Caramel, nuts, and some British hopping; not as bad as the other Erie. Still a tad thin and dead in the mouth. Drinkable in a pinch, but I’m not there yet. This one is going to be used as steam in a smoker.

Bottle. Pours light copper with a nice white head, some lacing. Aroma is a little bready with some light floral notes. Taste is really malty.. almost insanely not pale ale style. Mouthfeel is watery. Pretty bad.

Bottle at WOB in Land O Lakes. Pours a slightly hazy copper orange color with just a trace of head. Aroma is mostly malty with some English hops. Nice flavor, although a bit light compared to some American pale ales. Touch of sweetness in the finish.

Bottle. Average pale at best. Faint to zero aroma, small hop, grain. The appearance was a translucent copper with little head, little lacing, and a light overall look to it for a pale. The palate started a bit sticky and finished crisp, an odd transformation, with a light body. The taste held grain and hop notes up front that faded to a salty hay/grain finish.

ExpendableHero (572) - Florida, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Hazy golden beer with a thin, white head. Weak aromas of floral hops and barley. Tastes of weak floral notes, slight hints of grapefruit, and some skunky, dirty water. Bitter finish. This stuff is really lackluster and not all that great.

12 fl oz bottle from Bear World, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 30DE11.

App.: Clear deep golden with a so-so white head. Aroma: Sweet corny biscuit, buttery, vaguely fruity with light esters, poor. Palate: Medium body, full, slightly prickly effervescence. Flav.: Buttery and fruity, apple juice, a little biscuit, grain/cereal, kinda wheaty, poor; dry with fair bitterness and a weak grainy finish.

Anthony ain’t the only one who’s mad. Waste o’ money.

Bottled. Poured crystal-clear orangey-golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up honey and corny malts with light earthy and exotic fruity hops around.. cheap malt-forward.. non-offensive, but not interesting either. The flavor found honey, pale, and lesser biscuity malts at the core.. sharp and a little scratchy around, with earthy and citrus bitterness.. finished sharp, bitter, and not tasty. Light-bodied with tight carbonation.. I didn’t care for this one.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours orange tinged gold with a slight whiteish head. Aromas of light roast malt and floral hop. Med body. Flavor is mostly floral over light roast caramel. It’s not so much bitter as it is floral. Interesting take.
