Medium sized offwhite head thats short lived, some patchy lace left behind. Clear gold color. Nose is malty with some tea bag notes, a tad dirty. Body is med/light, good carbonation and a bit grainy on the palate. Caramel malts, light citrusy flavors, butter scotch notes, raw, stale hoppiness with some vegetal notes as well. Fairly dry finish is lightly grainy and weirdly bitter.

Bottle (12oz). Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper with an average size frothy off-white head. Decent aroma of floral hops, bready caramel malt and fruit. Flavour of caramel malt, floral hops and citrus fruit with a finish that’s more bitter then I expected, a little spicy too (pepper mainly). Alcohol well hidden. Average bodied. A little underrated, this is a fine IPA, it’s just not awesome -- If this were from Canada it would be rated higher.

12 oz bottle via Liquid SOl. Pours a SEMI-CLEAR COPPER WITH AN AVERAGE BEIGE HEAD. Nose is pine, orange, apricot. Taste is caramel, biscuits, pine, pepper and grapefruit with a semi-metallic dry finish. Body is medium, carbonation is moderate/high. Pretty good for an east coast IPA.

Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours a darkish orange amber color with an ok white head. Excellent floral aroma over some caramel. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is rather fruity and floral, with light biting spice, and some astringency. Finish is astringent, though not all that bitter. It’s a really tasty ale, badly underrated, and quite floral in the end. Hooah!

Brewed in the USA !!! Pours a nice amber color with a med white head. The aroma is of hops, citrus, and a hint of pine needles. The taste is pretty much the same, but i might add a slight trace of pepper. It was a bit on the watery side but still pretty good. :)

Bottle courtesy of summer SS 08, Mild pine aroma. Clear bubbly orange body with pale white head. Exelant lacing. Flavor of light grapefruit and lacking the crispness of an ipa. Great citrus grapefruit aftertaste lingering on palate. Man the aftertaste was better than the flavor odd. Thanks Alan.
