Draft. Pours an amber color with small white head. Small aromas of citrus and pine. Hops smash into your tongue hard. Flavor was all over the place. and the hop flavors was very abrasive. a decent brew but could be better.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured an orange-amber color with a medium sized orange-white head. The aroma was sweetish fruity and spicy hops. The flavor was dryish, tangy and had a strong floral, fruity, piney and resiny hop presence. The beer sweetened somewhat towards the finish and the finish was long with floral and citric hops. The mouthfeel was moderately thick. The overall hop profile was rather harsh. The hops really lingered forever. Interesting but something did not quite work for me.

Super clear gold with a crappy weak head. Smells overly citric and floral, with some caramel and brown sugar malt notes hiding underneath. The taste is very harsh and astringent. The hops are overwhelmingly bitter and intense, and the aftertaste is straight window cleaner. I stick up for Erie as much as possible, but c’mon guys you gotta do a little better than this. This is giving me a headache..

Draught: Aroma of hops and caramel malts. Poured amber in color with a big, dense, creamy, tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Light to medium bitter flavor. Tastes of floral hops, bitter hops and caramel malts. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Bitter hop finish. Pretty boring IPA.

The color was medium golden/orange. The head was thin, fizzy, and white. The aroma was light hops and citris. The flavor was hoppy, waxy/bitter, and light citris. The palate was thin. The finish was waxy.

Thanks doclock. Pours lean copper amber with a one finger frothy white head. Light fruity aroma, clean citrus, grassy herbal hops, sweet. The flavor is astringent and overly waxy, really bitter with a little subtle hop character. Not much to the mouthfeel other than the waxy feel.

Bottled. Mild hoppy aroma, with subtle fruity grapefruit notes. Not very strong at all in the hops - perhaps the bottle was a bit old? Mild caramel-biscuit sweetness of malt. Not a bad aroma, just weak. Dull golden amber-orange clear, with thin off-white head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts fairly sweet with caramel and biscuit, light pale maltyness and a bit of acidity. Slight metallic tang and a decent level of hoppy bitterness. Some grapefruit bitterness but dull. There are some off notes here, like a little bit of cardboard and diacetyl. Mild metallic taste, too. The bitterness at the finish is dull yet persistent. After is dull bitter.

Bottle. Pours medium coppery with 1-finger uniform white head. Aroma was bready caramel malt, hops, some tropical fruit, mild honey, and mild funk. The taste was crisp, caramel malty, with some peppery and mango notes. I didn’t get some of the off flavors and aromas that others got with this. Not great, but I think better than the ratings might indicate. I’ll rerate ASAP to get a better handle on this one.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and clear orangish color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of rotting vegetables, earthy, and a little spicy. I just couldn’t get past that vegetable part. Tastes of earthiness, spicy, and light caramel.
