Bottle. Dark bronze, creamy head. Nice "beery" aroma of the outdoors -- malty and rich, with a decidedly tannic finish ... like oaken citrus maybe? Thick and viscous for sure. (#5570, 7/4/2014)

From a bottle. Pours almost clear copper with a bubbly frothy off white head. Smells like sweet, nutty, orange hops, with some roasted caramel and booze. Tastes malty, nutty, like roasted grains and alcohol.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is cereal and bready malts, raisins, fig, and some floral notes. Flavor is dry malts, medium hop bitterness, some grassiness, and light citrus; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

An orange to amber color with a white head. Aroma contains some caramel with a hint of citrus. The flavor is only slightly bitter if at all with a ton of caramel going on. Slightly oxidized which makes no sense since this brewery is new to town. Overall bleh. Misery aint far off brother

A bite of hop balanced out with a smooth malt characteristic. A very pleasant IPA.

12 ounce bottle. Pours golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, and floral. Taste is the same. A mild IPA is what I tasted. Pretty good.

Theydon_Bois (12592) - Tourist Town (West), Berkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2013
Thanksgiving day lunchtime warm up, bottle split at Christine and DAves thanks to DLJ, 28/11/13. Hazed golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is grassy, citric tang, orange, light hop profile, touch of caramel maltiness. Taste comprises caramel malt, orange pith, light grapefruit, sprinkle of sucre, a little subdued overall. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy bitterness in the finish with a limted hop presence. Mediocre IPA.

SPDickerman (1050) - Texas, USA - DEC 4, 2013
Pours lightly hazy orange with a small white head. Smells lightly hopped and lightly malty, like a pale ale. Taste is just a little bitter, otherwise not very impressive. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Erie Brewing Misery Bay IPA finishes with a subtle bitterness.
