Bottle. Poured orange with a creamy off-white head that left light lace. Floral aroma with a light malt background. The flavor found a nice citrus and floral bitter with a caramel background. Medium body and a medium bitterness throughout.

Reddish copper, beige head. Definitely a malt forward aroma, with a lot of toast and caramel, then some woody hops. Seems fairly full bodied. Flavor is sourdough, some subtle, vegetal hops, and a mildly crisp finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear light orange color with almost no head. Aroma is odd. Stale fruity and citrus hops with pale malt. Taste is super dry and fruity with lots of unappealing malt coming through. Kinda tastes like a fruity cereal but not in a good way. Dry finish with a stale hop aftertaste. I would’ve guessed this was a lager.

Medium golden-orange body, thin white head. Light pale malts, some citric hops, minimal but pleasant. Flavor is a bit more bland than the nose. Medium to light bodied, gentle carbonation, a bit thin with a weak finish.

(I had it straight from the tank unfiltered) It was a hazy golden yellow with a white head. Floral notes on the nose, citrus and well balanced bitterness on the tongue. Fresh hops on the backside with a good sized body.

kramer (3873) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 9, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small fizzy off-white head that left some light lacing. The nose is pretty horrendous. It’s quite weird, there is a slight undertone of tropical fruit like hops, but then a ton of celery and band-aid phenols just wreck it all. I’m not sure what’s going on here. The flavor isn’t as bad as the nose suggests up front, some light tropical fruit hops that are pretty nice, but it doesn’t last. The back end is the band aids and celery notes. There’s nowhere near enough hops in here to rise to the level of IPA. Light to medium bodied with a doughy stickiness on the finish. Pretty bad beer period, but especially bad in regards to the style.

Long line at Buffalo Beer Fest for this. Amber hue capped by off white head with good retention. Nose is of citrus and pine. Taste follows with addition of a caramel malt body. Has a bit of chalk and soap too. It would be a good beer if they could figure that out.

BigBeer45 (1116) - Michigan, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle, this ale had a clear copper-orange pour and made a small faint off-white head that receded to a partial cover and thin ring rather quickly, this drink left some small spots and fingers of lacing on the glass, this IPA had aromas of toasted malt and bread with light citrus hops, malt and fruit sweetness, this beer had light to medium flavors of toasted malt and light bread with a little hop bitterness, the finish had a some hop bitterness with some malt flavor trailing afterwards, the mouth feel was less than medium with average carbonation, this IPA was on the malt side of things, not much hops on the nose and a little more hops on the palate, a pretty simple IPA.
