The beer smells huge of vanilla and caramel and alcohol. taste is very sweet like maple syrup. It goes down hot due to the alcohol but you don’t really taste the alcohol you just feel it. Produces some good lacing. Has a good sweet aroma of Vanilla, caramel, and toffee. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is real good. Nice sweet malts. Alcohol is very well hidden. A smooth drinker. Aromas of carmel, toffee, brown sugar, light frtuittiness and a hint of spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, nuts, brown sugar, toffee and a hint of fruittiness with a smooth lingering carmely finish.

Poured a clear red-orange color with a thin beige head that faded to a layer. Sweet, light caramel malt aroma with some light peat, brown sugar, and a hint of fruit (apple). Smooth, sweet entry with some light caramel, a hint of brown sugar, and some light fruity undertones (apple). No peat or smoke present in the flavor. Moderate carbonation and decent mouthfeel. Notes of toast and smoke in the nose. Flavor is strongly malty, sweet, with notes of caramel, toast, brown sugar. It’s a nicely balanced beer, but could benefit from a beefier body, natural carbonation. Decent Wee Heavy.
