Pours a deep reddish mocha color, with a thin tan head. Aroma of sweet chocolate malt, with some buttery warmth...alcohol isn’t even trying to hide. Taste of overripe redfruit dipped in semi-sweet chocolate, burnt chocolate on the aftertaste, boozy warmth all around. Nice scotch ale, has some oomph to it.

I was happy with this one. I am a fan of scotch ales and this was definitely a strong one just like it says but its a great beer for the winter

Poured a brown color with a medium sized, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, toast, and a bit of roast. Taste of nutty, grains, some caramel, light citrus, and earthy, with light spices, and some alcohol as well.

Bottle courtesy of myself. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, earthy hops, and a touch of toasted malt. Taste is the same as aroma with an emphasis on toasted malt. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and very well hidden alcohol. Very good.

pours ruby - orange with tan head. Aroma does carry the boozy feel of the beer with notes of dark fruits giving it a sweet almost honey aroma. Taste, caramel malts with abv well present. Some dark fruits as fig, cherry. Finish is syrupy and grainy with light spices and the dark fruits that linger on the palate.
