Wow, this was sweet. Lots of caramel and molasses, hardly any hops. It didn’t really smell that great - more of a stale bread aroma. To be honest, I ended up dumping most of it. Not because it was bad (It wasn’t good, but I have finished much worse), but because I didn’t want to choke down a 10% beer when I could drink two 5% beers that I enjoy...

Clear and copper in color with minimal head. Aroma is all toffee and caramel. Taste is toffee with alcohol heat coming through on the finish. Not my favorite style but a good beer that I’d drink again.

355mL from Grassroots Market is Jax, Fl. Thanks drowland for the gift card! Pours with no head, low carbonation. Clear reddish amber, deep. Nose is dark cherry, sweet alcohol, licorice mild. Taste is sugary, mild paper. Weaker finish for abv.

Pours cloudy brown with a fleeting off-white head. Very light toffee aroma. The flavor is light honey, caramel and toast. Light bodied. This needs more malt flavor.

Red ale with a white head. Bold and strong on the nose which is slightly still hot. The ABV is 10.1 yet it is really well blended into the beer. The overall is quite nice.

Clear reddish-brown with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of toast and caramel. Taste is moderately sweet and full of caramel flavor. Medium bodied and slightly syrupy.

Bottle thanks to Justin. Poured a one finger head with a nice mahogany color. Pretty decent aromas of caramel, toffee, honey, butterscotch, alcohol grain. Lighter texture but still has a big beer feel. Medium light bitterness. Slight metallic taste. One of the better ones I’ve had from Erie.

Very smooth and alcohol was well hidden. Malt blend was very good along with bittering hops.

Bottle. Crimson amber pour with minimal head. Caramel sweetness, bread, and some dark fruit. ABV pretty well hidden.
