Brewery had samples at local bar. This was the third beer out of three that I tried. I did not like this one as much as the others. Couldn’t taste the alcohol at all, however there was something different about the taste that I just wasn’t diggin. You could both smell and taste the caramel in this. It poured a dark orange body.

Very smooth beer that should be drank from a glass. Very much enjoyed this beer. Not an overly complex beer, but a very solid beer.

Railbender Ale. Offers the hope, for a great beer. However, that hope is denied. It’s aroma is absent. It’s appearance is ordinary coppery colored. It’s flavor is disappointingly not there. The aftertaste and palate are acceptable. I really thought I was drinking a strong lager. Not impressed.

Copper Brown pour. Nice sweet maltiness. Flavor increased as the beer opened up. Good beer on a cold winter night. The 6.8% smoothness will warm you up quick!

Pours an amber-red color with minimal white head. Very little in the way of interesting aroma. Average flavor develops with an alcohol burn and some small bit of hoppiness. Thin to medium body. Disappointing for a micro, but not a bad beer. Just average.

Bottle from Erie sampler pack. Clear light copper with a small white head. Fairly bland aroma of malt and tobacco leaves, with a slight sharpness building as it warms. Medium bodied. Average flavour of sweet malt, slightly sugary off the top, developing caramel notes, moderately hopped finish, and some alcohol warmth. Not bad, not great, just - meh.

orangish red appearance with mild white head. nose is sweet and alcoholic. flavor is kind of convoluted with a somewhat watery malt component with no obvious hops but a decent balance. the alcohol content adds some depth and really makes the beer. the malt and hop flavor aren’t very noteworthy but this is a rare exception where an increased alcohol content carries the beer
