Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium off white head. Aroma of toffee, malt and hops. Taste is semi sweet and earthy. Has a slightly musty, spice type finish.

12 oz bottle-amber color w/a small off white head. Roasted malt aroma. Sour, stale roasted malt flavor. Taste of old shoe leather w/old metalic overtones; light, watery mouth feel. This beer just was not very good, I could not finish it. Maybe this was a bad one, but it was a new arival where I got it, so I think that"s just how this thing tastes.

Great drinkable beer, full malt flavor with a kick. Has a nice amber color with a soft hop flavor. Finish is light but not watered down.

12 oz bottle...cloudy golden-copper...little beige head...smells like Heineken on steroids...on a further sniff+ swirl malts surface, pretty plain...wow tastes like candy on the first sip--strawberry pop rocks or something, but not all sweet like a fruit beer, its mixed with a beer, slight bitter finish, good...better than I thought, but still not an every day...body is pretty light, but not watery...speckled loose lacing

12oz. Bottle: Light caramel appearance, minimal beige head. Sweet malty aroma. First sip leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth, acidic almost. Rather thin, pretty average. Not much to say here.

Draft pint at KClingers. Moderate amber with a thin top. Not much to it that defines it one way or another. Very even-keeled with a bit of a sugary caramel thing, but otherwise an easy amber brew. (#3217, 11/24/2007)

Bottle. Unbalanced with sweet finish. Quickly fading head into a dimpled mug. Seemed grainy - maybe ricy. Not much floral, just a bready sweet-ale, which didn’t strike the desire to try a second bottle.

Sampled from the bottle at the newtown Brewfest. Copper colr with thin head. Malts and toffee in the nose. Sweet caramel malts with a hint of dried fruit and a mild hop finish. Not bad.
