This was a nice beer for the style, something that I would come back to since I can find it locally.

Nice light brown color but didn’t retain its head very long. Not a strong aftertaste but has a hint of something citrius. Not a bad ale

Sampled on draft at Rivertowne Pub in North Huntingdon PA this beer poured a dark copper color with a huge orange-white head. The aroma is light and sweet fruity hops. The flavor is sweet, malty, nutty, yeasty and has a moderate floral and fruity hop presence. The finish is dry and bitter. Pleasant and fairly easy drinking.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Sliffy. Clear light amber with a yellowish tan head. Medium sweet caramel nose, toffee and biscuit notes. Sweet malty flavor, caramel, an almost malt liquor graininess. Touches of breadiness. Light, muted, sweet finish.

Light copper. Nose is caramel, dark fruits, chocolate, cherry. Flavor is strong fruit, sourish plum, caramel. Vaguely bockey. Meh.

sweet, caramel taste, expected to really taste the alcohol, well hidden, not the greatest, not bad

Bottle thanks to sliffy: Pours a clear copper orange with a thin-lacing wispy white head. Sweet caramely malty aroma has a noble hoppy character and lager yeasty profile. Body starts with a sweet grainy malty flavor and lots of malt liquor character. Not much resemblance of an old ale here, although it hides its alcohol fairly well.

Hummmm, not a very good beer. light brown with kind of acrid caramel flavor. A drain pour for me.
