The aroma is malty with caramel, cereal, and hay. The hops are there I think but very subdued. The appearance is amber with a small head. The flavor is like then aroma with a cereal finish. The palate is thin but OK. Overall I like it.

On tap at International Beer Garten (Lutz, FL). Pours a clear amber color with a beige head. Roasted caramel/malt aroma and flavor. Slight bitter aftertaste. Highly carbonated.

Clear amber. Smells malty and biscuity with not too much roasted taste or smell. Somewhat bitter and malty. Smooth.

Bottle. Stale old caramel malt and stinky feet with earthy toffee and some flat tire air. Weak amber pour with a noisy beige head. Taste has grape notes and a strong grainy aftertaste, reasonably dry with a little peat and earthy near-smoke. Occasional flashes of raisin sweetness. Body starts light but sticky and actually seems rather full after some volume. Not as bad as I think, I keep telling myself.

Nice and smooth Scotch style ale. Nice balance of malt and hops as well as a touch of caramel. Draft.

On tap @ Ravenous Pig. Clear amber color, thin short-lived white head. General mild malty and grainy aromas, a little sweetness. Taste was more akin to a weaker Scottish ale, malt-focused and slightly sweet. Pretty mild and forgettable.
