Dec 6, 2008 12 oa bottle pours medium brown with caramel highlights. FLuffy white head with a slight caramel aroma. Thin body with a bit of nutty flavor. Reminded me of Yeungling.

Jan 12, 2009 On tap at International Beer Garten (Lutz, FL). Pours a clear amber color with a beige head. Roasted caramel/malt aroma and flavor. Slight bitter aftertaste. Highly carbonated.

Nov 29, 2006 This ale poured a cloudy orange colour with a off white foamy head. Sour to the nose, slight vomit scent. If you can get past that you might get a little hop and some grassy notes. first taste is a bitter musty??? taste. Very malty flavoured with a little bread flavour. Finish is bitter with lingering hops. Thick feeling on the palate.

Sep 3, 2008 Very nice easy drinking on draft at Magoo’s. Big malt flavors, full flavors, Amber color, roasted , a bit on the sweetside with lots of ketones and a nice funky edge.

Jun 15, 2007 Antique orange pour with a small white head. aroma is of heavy malts, a touch on the sweet side. Fairly light body, a touch too carbonated. Finish is long and sweet. The malts are there, a little bit of caramel / toffee flavor. An OK beer.

Nov 1, 2001 [4/15/01 - Solid tasting beer.] I’ve had this a couple times since. This is a drinking beer meaning something not too rich or flavorful but something that is enjoyable to drink. Not memorable but easy to drink. It has some flavor and tastes pretty good. This is something I will have again. I don’t see how this is anything close to a strong ale, this is a pale ale or something similar to that.

Mar 11, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear amber, thin off-white head. Aroma is of fruit and light hops. Body is thin, the carbonation is decent. The flavor is pretty balanced caramel, malt, and hops. Bitterness is very mild. Finish is sweet and slightly dry. Good beer.
