MrTBone (11), New Jersey, USA Jul 2, 2008 This reminds me more of what a Belgian wit is. Light, crisp, refreshing with subtle hints of citrus. Not great but pretty good- worth a six-pack for the 4th. Dubbercody (214), Vancouver, Washington, USA Jun 21, 2008 Pretty beer, nice white head. But...Pretty thin for a wit...watery with a touch of something more...If it was 90+ this would work...almost like water. But I would have to chose something else first as well. Drinks down fast, finished the beer while writing this review...usually I’m only half done.
Nothing special, nothing awful. I would drink it again, but I might not buy it again. swoopjones (1862), Buffalo, New York, USA Jun 19, 2008 Bottle sample @ Village Beer Merchants Tasting. Didnt mind this one at all. Simple, citrusy, lightly & correctly spiced. Lemony & eay drinking, nice summer beer WISEGUY572 (1244), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA May 30, 2008 Pretty simple stuff. Citrus nose. Taste of lemon and pepper and ... well ... nasty. Clear to slightly hazy lemon and straw ... I expect more cloudiness in w wit. A little thin in the mouth. Lawn mowing beer, but not awful. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA May 28, 2008 Bottle from Belmont Station--Thin blond body similar to flavor. Watery yet a little spicy. Highly sessionable summer beer. Not much to write about otherwise. Ron (1002), Rochester, New York, USA May 27, 2008 Hazy, golden appearance with a small white head and light lacing. Yeasty aroma with a little bit of citrus. Tart, mildly spiced taste with little depth. It is light bodied and well carbonated. Clean, crisp and it was refreshing after opening my pool for the season. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA May 27, 2008 For an American Witbier it is pretty good. Huge white head, decent lacings, lemony flavor, good summer drink. Would not turn down on a hot day. I could drink a bunch of these. beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA May 25, 2008 Watery wit beer, not much to this. I’m sure some people like this on a hot day, but there are too many other wits that I’d opt for ahead of this one. Pours a light straw gold, just a very light haze to it, and a thin white head. The spiciness from the yeast was subtle, very subtle, lacked crispness, no dry or tangy flavors that make other wits more refreshing.
