Watery wit beer, not much to this. I’m sure some people like this on a hot day, but there are too many other wits that I’d opt for ahead of this one. Pours a light straw gold, just a very light haze to it, and a thin white head. The spiciness from the yeast was subtle, very subtle, lacked crispness, no dry or tangy flavors that make other wits more refreshing.

12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured hazy gold with slight head. Bland, metallic tasting. Very, very bad.

Bottle from "Jim’s Girls" for Bosses Day. Pretty bland for a wit with an accentuation on the lemon and wheat and not a lot of citrus or spices. Pretty wet but a decent small spice hangs in the palatte. Lots of straw here, someone ripped open the scarecrow and brewed him. I like how the label obscures the health warning.

Bottle sampled from Capones, shared with Mad_indian. Pours cloudy pale golden with a small white fizzy head. Aroma of lemon, citrus, and grass. The flavor is lemon, citrus, and an unbalanced grassy finish. Watery body.

12oz bottle pours pale golden with a big white head and lots of lace. Aromas of slight yeast, some lemon, and grassy hops on the finish. Flavor mirrors the aroma. Slight on both aroma and flavor. Palate is crisp and clean though and this was pretty easy to drink on a hot summers day..

Bottle from capones. Sampled with Stegosaurus. Cloudy golden pour. I did not detect any wheat what so ever. Thin in body with a lemon taste. Not much to brag about.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy lemony/straw color with a two finger head. Aromas are wheaty with a little bit of grassy lemon in the background. Flavor is fairly weak... almost watery at first, but then things give way to a little more predictable lemon and grass flavoring. If you’re feeling generous you might find some coriander in there. Ends with a touch of a sweet light malt taste with a touch of yeast. Not a lot of pizzazz and fairly uninspiring. Best chosen to quench a thirst as it is light and refreshing.

Nice refreshing summer beer that is low in gravity and easy to drink, but light on the traditional Witbier spices. However, it is hot tonight, so this goes well with the weather.
