Bottle from Capone’s. Turbid lemon pulpy yellowish pour with 2-finger white head. Aroma is lemongrassy hopcitrus, pale malt, some floral and spicy hints. The palate is medium to light, with flavor notes of lemony citrus, hops, coriander, white pepper. The flavor seems a tiny bit muted in this, but I’d still give this a marginal recommendation as a decent wit or hot weather beer.

Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Hazy pale gold color with a slight white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus/coriander. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is a burst of citrus/spice followed by a rather flat wheatiness. Citrus reappears in the finish. Ok, but not a showstopper.

The DM & Hotstuff vacation tour July 2005. This draft brew from Porters in Erie, PA poured a small sized head of finely sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was hazy and yellow white in color. Its aroma contained mild floral notes. Its mouth feel is tingly with a good wit palate and a smooth aftertaste. Its flavor contained very mild coriander, malty with mild floral notes.

Draft at Erie Brewing Co. Poured a small white head that mostly diminished, fine sized bubbles, nice lacing, carbonated, cloudy. Aroma was malty and the flavor was sweet, malty and some coriander? Just not sure on this one. Tingly mouthfeel. Light body.
