Bottled. Golden colour. This is a decent low-alco beer: Fruity aroma and flavour, with a somewhat tobacco-like maltiness. Not as revolting sourness as most Pale lagers.

Papsoe (25085) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) The label describes this as "pale" but actually it’s fully golden like the best Czech lagers. Crisp and fizzy with a thick, white head. Flowery hop-aroma and surprisingly full-bodied for a low alcohol lager. Yet another positive surprise from Sweden - even if it’s from Carlsberg. 130504

Bottle 500ml.
Clear dark amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark berry, sweet berry, spicy, brown sugar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091023]

Dark amber color with green hue (??? have to retry, I really remember the dark color). Simple aroma and taste, quite dry. Very light hop aroma, quite high bitterness.

Pours golden brown with a small white head. Weak sweaty aroma, with some sweet malt too. Carbonation is very spritzy. Flavours of citrus, grass and buttery sweet malt. Not bad at all, just a little bland. Finish is thin but crisp. Suprisingly ok.
