Bottled
Dark reddish brown with thick, lacing head. Aroma is brown sugar, vanilla and roasted malt. Flavour is more brown sugar, roasted malt and some raisins. Low bitterness. A very traditional Swedish Christmas lager.

500ml bottle. Pours a brownish medium copper, with a beige head. Malty aromas, caramel, medium roast, chocolate, a slightly perfumed hop character. Off-dry, light to medium body and bitterness, lively CO2. Malty, slightly spicy taste, caramel, roasted, hops, and a faint touch of cardboard. (2011-12-24)

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black brown with a big tanned bubbly head. Aroma is acidy, roasted, malty, bready and a bit fruity. Flavor is malty, roasted, a bit smokey, fruity and bitter. Finishes bitter malty.

50cl bottle. Pours brown with a big brown head. Smells bread malty. Tastes bitter and chocolate malt, abit watery with a similar finish.

pours dark with medium head aromas of malt, burned sugar, some bread taste of malts, some burned bread watery, not really much taste at all.

Malty, slightly sweet aromas of grains and bread. Some caramel notes. Rich and quite full taste with a medium body. Some sweetness but also flavours of spicy malt and a light bitterness. Not to bad.

Mörkbrunt öl med vitt, långvarigt skum. Dofter av frukt och karamell, smaker av desamma samt vanilj och honung. En god öl till julmaten, lagom sött, lagom beskt för sillen och skinkan.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2012 Bottle. Dark brown colour with an off white head. Caramel and a light fruity nose. Medium caramel flavour with some fruity notes.

Pours deep chestnut with a small, creamy, beige film head. Sweet aroma with caramel, lightly toasted, mild chocolate. Highish carbonation, kinda spritzy, fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has a good deal of metal at first, dry maltiness, some liqourice and chocolate. Fine malty bitter finish. Okay, shame about the metallic notes that detract.

Bottle. A dark brown colour with a tanned head. An aroma of caramel, bread and fruit. A mdium sweet taste. A medium body and avarage carbonation.

Dark amber with light brown head - aroma of roasted malt - tastes the same of roasted malt - good
