Dark mahogany colour with creamy head. Belgo-Style X-mas scent with plum and bit of toast. Rounded mouthfeel with long flavour with nice fruitiness. Good malty here.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2007 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Deep clear copper with a medium beige head. Fruity malt aroma with dark chocolate, fudge, some wood, and some citric hops. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. Nicely balanced with a relatively long bitter finish. A bit bock-like.

flavor is fulll, sweet, grains, slighly roasted and well balalnced. real nice brew.

Mörkbrunt öl med vitt, lĺngvarigt skum. Dofter av frukt och karamell, smaker av desamma samt vanilj och honung. En god öl till julmaten, lagom sött, lagom beskt för sillen och skinkan.

Bottle. A dark brown colour with a tanned head. An aroma of caramel, bread and fruit. A mdium sweet taste. A medium body and avarage carbonation.

Bottle. Dark clear amber colour with a nice head. Aroma of parfume, malt and sweetness. Flavour of parfume, sweet malty and caramel. Ends up sweet little spicy and smooth.

Bottle, 5.6%. OK spicy aroma, liquorice and anis. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. Teaish, spicy flavour, slightly sweet. Well balanced.

Biggish brown-beige head doesn’t last. Barely translucent dark red body with carbonation. Faint papery syrupy aroma. Dry-sweet delicate raisiny roasty dried fruit taste with caramel malts and mint notes. Harmonic and balanced. Fullish body. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry roasty peppery cinnamon aftertaste with dusty malts notes. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Orange-golden with a nice, creamy head. The aroma is fruity in a slightly perfumed way, but I also get notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour is quite smooth with pleasant notes of roasted malt and caramel, and I also find the slightly perfumed and spicy flavour of fruits here. The finish is slightly dry and bitter.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of star anise. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and star anise, leading to a dry bitter and spicy finish.
