50cl bottle. Deep golden, white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, cardboard. Flavor similar, very sweet, malty, hint of caramel. Not much aftertaste. Avoid.

Bottle, at Hotel 11 (040603). Dark golden. Aroma moderate malty and hoppy (roasted). Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium body, watery to oily, lively carbonated. A good lager in fine balance.

Tried this many times and just realised that I haven’t rated it. Mild smell, slightly metallic and lightly malty. A bit artificial. Similar taste. Just like any other industrial lager.

Typical lager/pilsener. This one is quite high on malty cereal flavour and low on bitterness.

Inviting dark yellow colour. Hoppy with a slight aroma of tobacco. Sweet, with a little dry finish. This far, one of two good beers brewed by Pripps/Ringnes.

Nate (3806) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2005
Hoppy beany aroma, sweet malts. On the verge on being skunky but not quite. Not crisp, but not dead. Golden amber clear with foamy white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Pretty standard lager profile. Mild sweetness throughout, medium carbonic acidity, and hops that are not crisp, but still pretty fresh. Bitterness increases toward finish but biscuit sweetness sticks. After is mild astringent bitterness with fruity notes.

stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - AUG 20, 2010
Pours a clear golden beer with a large white head. The aroma is malt and DMS. The flavor is close to the nose. The palate is sweet. Overall a boring beer.

rauchbier (3655) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2004
Bottle, from Systembolaget store in Malmř. Amber gold, thin white head and moderate condition. Low malt aroma with a faint suggestion of smokiness, soft and smooth in the mouth with some low malt stretching into the finish. Gentle chalky bitterness develops towards the end.

Palme (3603) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 31, 2011
0.5l bottle @ Resturant Esperanza, Stockholm. This is a clear watery-copper beer with a small and quickly sidesticking just off-white head. The aroma has cardboard notes with pale malts and some dusty hops. Completely uninteresting actually and not very nice. A bit more interesting stuff in the flavors: it’s average carbonated and has a normal lagerish oily mouthfeel. Light hoppy flavors, also with a light roasted caramelish-touch. Some OK flavors, but all in all, a boring strong lager.

Pours gold with a light white head, not much retention or lacing...The aroma is light wet and skunky hops, not much going on...I didn’t expect much in the taste not much was there. Light hops, bitter, skunk but not as much as I thought. Compared to most swedish beers this is decent but nothing special nor worth getting. Better than an american macro but that’s not saying much.
