Bottle (Danke, Jonas !): Clear, greenish-golden coloured, stable white fluffy head; grainy-bisquity nose with alcoholic traces and some lemony-grassy undertones; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; solid hoppy-honeyish finish. Moreish, well balanced Heller Bock...........

It’s slightly hazy golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and fruit. The flavor is sweet and fruity and malty and has additional notes of citrus. It’s very harmonic and pleasant!

Bottle. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, corn, grains and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some malt, grains and herbal hops.Medium body, average carbonation.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grassy and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, from trade with Maria. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head. The aroma is nicely hopped, fruity, spiced and grassy, with some alcohol and maltyness in the back. Flavorwise it’s quite sweet, but with enough bitterness to deal with it. Fruityness and some grassy and spiced flavors too. Full body. Bitter finish. A quite nice one, tasteful and easy drinkable. 120224

[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, white bread, sugar, malt, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sugar, white bread, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Mild getreidiger Antrunk mit hintergründiger alkoholischer Süße auf mildem Niveau. Im Mittelteil wenig intensiver werdend, hell-malzig, die alkoholische Süße ist stärker präsent. Im Abgang leicht nach einem Fruchtkuchen schmeckend, süßlich-getreidig, sehr mild "bockig". Ok. Test vom 4.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,8,10,8 - 8,05

Sweet pale malty aroma with notes of biscuits, a tinge of honey and shades of grassy hops, accompanied by traces of alcohol. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Robust pale malty, biscuity taste; almost dry malty finish with present grassy hoppy notes lingering into the aftertaste. Quaffable pale Bock. 15.X.08

Bottle. Honey malt aroma with moderate astringency. Clear golden yellow with small head. Sweet honey malt flavor initially with moderate astringent finish. NIce solid bock.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of joss. Aged example. It pours a clear pale golden beer with a small head. The aroma is fantastic! Huge amounts of hop resin, grapefruit, mango, litchi, white bread, sweat, pine needles and blue cheese appearing. Wonderful taste- absolutely mindblowingly good. A great surprise. Perfectly balanced. Deeply pleasant. Marvelous hop profile with mango, litchi, grapefruit, clementine and blood orange showing up. Complex. Bready. Decent bitterness. Licorice, clementine and a huge amount of beautiful hops in the finish which is dry. Excellent. A Heller Bock which is reminiscent of an impressive Double IPA. Thanks a lot joss for this one!

Bottle. Fresh citric bready nose. Golden, fine champagne bubbles, white lacing head. Strong, fat base, plenty of light aromatics and citrus to balance, apple notes Fine sparkly mouthfeel, medium body. Light flowers retronasal. Very satisfactory.
