It’s warm golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of bread, dry straw, flower, malt and the finish is dry and slightly bitter - very delicious!!

Bottle. Lightly sweet lemon grass malt aroma. Medium yellow color with moderate head. Lightly sweet malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Lighter body. Decent but pretty average Helles.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, old hay, light to moderate hoppy, old grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091004]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear yellow with a small white head. Clean malty nose. Medium body, sweet malts and a very discreet bitterness. Straight but unispired. 041009

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, malty, hoppy with shy fruity hints. Hints of barnyard flavours present, which makes it quite interesting for a Helles. I like it!

Bottle: Pale golden, thinner white fluffy head with a little lace; hayish-grassy influences in the grainy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; a bit harsh in the bitter-sweet finish. Rather a hop-accented Helles, not very well rounded.............

(bottle) Clear, yellow colour with a mid-sized, not very persistent foamy white head. Moderately sweet, soft grainy malt aroma with an aromatic citrus fruity note and slightly spicy hops. Light-sweet flavour, light bodied with a medium carbonation. Malt-accented, citrus-fruity and slightly chalky taste; almost dry, slightly bitter Citrousy and light hoppy finish. A bit slim but anyway a clean and pleasant Helles.

Bottled(500ml). -pale golden coloured, little airy head, nice slight grassy hop and strong unpleasant vegetable (cauliflower) aroma. Like my friend, which bought it, said: This is a truly German peasant beer.

Fresh grassy hop aroma. Pale golden, low creamy lacing head. Interresting nutty malt base, lighbodied, sulphury hops, a bit DMS. Gets less interresting with time.
