Bottle. Pours an amber colour. Aroma and flavour of caramel, toasty malt, some spices, some dark fruits and bit yeast.

Herb-dunkler Antrunk mit Getreidenoten, die sich auf dem allgemein gültigen Niveau befinden. Denn auch später wird das Bier nicht intensiver sondern verharrt, was einen Aromenaufbau verhindert. Etwas herber, kaum bitter, das Malz ebbt ab. Auf Dauer fad. 9/7/8/7/8/6

Amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with fresh grain. Dry malty flavour with herbal hops

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, excellent lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, grain, toasted, light to moderate caramel, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100813]

clear caramelly, small head faint aroma of caramel and hops flavor is caramelly, faint flowery.

Bottle. Amber pour with a medium off white head. Toffee and caramel in the aroma. The flavour is dark malty with som ecaramel and toffee.

Bottle, 5.6%. Melted butter aroma, slightly roasted. Almost clear brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is slightly sweet at first with some malty rye bread. A little like hvidtøl or Malzbier, but less sweet, of course.

Clear amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of hops. Flavor had roasted malt, caramel, vague nuts and hops. Finished somewhat dry.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Wort-like aroma initially, then some caramel and fruity hops chime in. Sweet, caramel flavor with some bitterness. Rather dry, full-bodied. Wort-like flavor all the way, but in a quite nice way. Overall, a decent beer, well suited for chilly nights I guess. 20100813

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear dark amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is grain and caramel. Smooth palate. Flavor is bread and caramel.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, big rocky off-white head with a good lace; very solid sweet-fruity (dried fruits), nutty and caramelly nose; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, soft MF; shy bitterness in the nutty-malty finish. Superb stuff, typical franconian quality, almost a diluted Doppelbock.......
