3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper colour. Lightly toasty on the nose. One the palate, more of the same, with a caramel accent. Hints of alcohol in this one. Interesting, characterful amber lager.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ brewpub. Bright and red-copper, is the clearest beer they make here. Aroma is mild dark bread and dough. Some butter is there but not so offensive. Has a doughy quality and yet is the least yeasty of the bunch, and balanced.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught. Reddish brown with an off-white head. Slight malt and caramel smell. Taste is a bit disappointing as it is very mild without the bite you expect from a dunkel

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
06/03 Draught at the brewpub. It had very slightly hazy, orange to reddish body with small head. Quite nice aroma, some caramel and honey, I didn’t notice that dog food. Sweet flavor, of course also caramel, sugary, somewhat fruity. Medium to fuller body, long sweet sugary finish. Pretty fine and actually ordinary local dunkel, very sweet, again too much for me.

On tap at the brauhaus. Pours a murky caramel clor with a frothy beige head that leaves gorgeous lacing. Smells of grass. Tastes of chewy caramel, red apples, and malt. Simple, but nice.
