There’s a slight chance I was served their Weizenbock instead (they look the same), despite chatting about the ’normal’ Hefeweizen with the waitress for about thirty seconds. So, grain of salt and all that. Tap in their garden, a lightly-hazy yellow body with a creamy, rocky white head. This is essentially a lighter version of their WB, same cloying sweetness and fruity taste, just a lighter body and less apparent alcohol. Maybe it’s the yeast?

On tap at the site in October. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Fruity aroma, mostly citrus, with a touch of yeast. Sweetish fruity flavour

Brauerei Eschenbräu, Berlin. Ködös, világító sárga szín, közepes méretű hófehér hab és igen erős karbonáció jellemzi. Illata eléggé átlagos: búzamaláta és banán. Ízében búzamaláta, nem túl érett banán és egy adag élesztő vehető ki. Közepesen testes és száraz, habár nem olyan mértékben, de hasonló problémával küzd, mint a Pils, ugyanis sajnos ez is jóval szénsavasabb a kelleténél.

Beer No. 51 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Light cloudy yellow coloured, small white head that went away fast, dusty fruity nose. Banana and cloves are dominated here. Also light yeasty and citrusy notes in the finish. Quite unbalanced but drinkable.

Brumeuse dorée, col blanc.
Arôme de ester fruité avec touche de houblon et citron.
En bouche, note de levure avec qcq épices, ester rappellent un peu la douceur du marshmallow pour un palais de bonne effervescence. Faible amertume se fait présente avec un petit fini fruité partant sur le cidre.

Hefiger und erdnussiger Antrunk, etwas malzig in angenehmer und ausgewogener Intensität. Im Mittelteil weitestgehend gleich, das Bier wird nur etwas hellmalziger. Der Erdnusston bleibt, wird aber süßer. Darunter findet man die deutliche Hopfigkeit, welche aber zum Ende geringer wird. Zum Ende dunkler. Nettes Weizen.

Dull tan and cloudy. Fresh wheat malt aroma with light spiciness. Quite clean. Juicy (apple) and clean, with only a little bit of late yeast. Nice wheat.

Draft @ brewpub. Bright golden honey color, hazy with light head that is small for a weizen. Smells surprisingly clean. The weizen malt is complemented by a spritzy citrus. Soft palate with lively carbonation. Smooth and balanced with very clean flavors. Not very banana. More straight wheat malts and citrus esters, lemony.
