24th Jan 2016: draught in Offside, Wedding, Berlin. Cloudy brew with a full, lasting white cap. Yeasty, lemony, grassy and tasty. Drank it at it’s source a few years ago, not too sure why I never rated it back then. A decent unfiltered Pilsner and although newer breweries in Berlin are now also brewing similar beers this is worth searching out while in the city.

Draught pint@source XII15. Finally, a real unfiltered Pils cloudy like organic apple juice on Berlin soil, it is possible, if you venture out to Wedding (The Brewbaker Bellevue is rather cleaned up). Great fresh herbaceous and chlorophyl nose, announcing its intentions very clearly, on top of those fresh, doughy Gasthausbrauerei Keller yeast proteins. Great grassy DE noble hops in taste, melissa, nettle, minty touches meet great cloudy body, a touch yeast-slick maybe. If not for the journey back my Siphon/growler choice would have been made.

Keg at the brewpub, 19/07/15. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent white cap. Nose is bread dough, straw, light citric peel, light hop pangs. Taste comprises pale malt, juicy citric peel, melon, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent citric lead pils.

Tap at brewpub, Berlin. Hazy yellow color, good whitechead. Grainy, herbal, slightly sweet hoppy nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Grassy, herbal-spicey bitterness. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Very tasty "zwickel".

[5/5/14] Draught at the brewpub in Berlin. Hazy yellow. Aroma of bready malt, yeast, a bit of hay and nice citric and grassy hops. Flavor has mild bready maltiness, some lager yeast and nice bright citric and grassy hops with crisp bitterness. A really good and quaffable Pils.
