Brown, black appearance. No head. This is an ordinary schwarz. Some sweetness with hints of nuts in the beer. A bit too thin though.

Jul 31, 2008 The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass is deep-black. Tastes mild, only modest malty. Sweet finish. Very drinkable!

Sep 18, 2007 dark copper colour. big head that vanishes quite fast. starts with roasted malts but bitter in a way. hopsy mid and finish. all the time aroma of roasted malts.

May 27, 2007 Sweet sorghum molasses aroma with pleny of hops and a touch toasty. Clear but almost opaque from dark colour tawny brown. Also kakhi foam that quickly recedes to a filmy cover. Fairly sweet molasses with lots of toastiness and a nice contrapuntal noble hops. Modest bitterness, but probably enough to offset the sweetness. Extremely flavourful and extremely well balanced. Medium body, moderate carbonation, and little bit of lasting bitterness.

Nov 19, 2006 Bottle: Deep amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy tanned head; delicate nose: toasted/roasted malt and some hops with a touch of vegetables; slightly sweetish flavouir, light bodied; faint roast-bitter and sweetish-malty finish. Not really bad, but boring...........
