Bottle @ DØE Syd. Slightly hazy dark amber with small tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, caramel and yeast. FLavour is malt,fruit, hops, little phenols, hops, caramel, yeast, medium sweet, little toffee and spices.

Unclear matt medium red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, light chocolate, foam banana - artificial, bubble gum - sweet jamaica rom. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration, spicy, sweet foam banana, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120201]

Bottle (tasting at Omhper´s) A clear red-brown colour with a medium high, light brown head. An aroma of marzipan, fruit, yeast and caramel. The taste is medium sweet and light bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a medium long duration.

Bottle at Omhper’s - Brown with red tinges. Marzipan, Christmas cake and dried fruit in the aroma. Fruity and quite chewy taste with notes of dried fruit, marzipan and raisins.

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Distinct marzipan aroma. Sweet and fruity with above medium body, lots of marzipan, less citrus. Low bitterness. Flavourwise this is closer to a Belgian style ale than an APA - the rhum seems to contribute with a marzipan flavour.

Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, caramel, spices, coriander, raisin and sugar. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall a beer with too many spices and below average.

Pours cloudy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon, cardamom, dried fruits and fruity hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, thx to fonefan. A clear-looking brown beer topped by a dense, creamy, beige head. The aroma is spiced, with cardamom and some anise-like scent. Not much room left for other aromas, still it doesn’t present itself as a very spiced beer. The same goes for the flavor, except there’s brown sugar as a base. Full to medium body, quite soft on the carbonation. Spiced and sugary finish with a touch of bitterness. Well, a pretty decent Danish Christmas beer, but it’s not very well formulated. 120211
